Webb Update

First off, we are alive! Ben graduated in April and we decided to move to Utah, so this last month we have been going back and forth from IF to Ogden and have had no time to blog but so many things have happened and we are excited to finally be settled and take on our new adventure! We are currently living in Layton, UT and love the area. We are right next to everything! We are 7 minutes from lagoon and 20 minutes fro SLC. We are thinkin about getting season passes to Lagoon and spending lots of time by the pool. So please come visit us and let us know when you are in Utah!!

Ben graduated in April with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. He plans to take to the GRE this summer and then start applying for grad school for Fall 2013. He is planning on doing PA but he has the pre recs for medical school, or PT so he could change but for now the plan is PA. This summer Ben is working for his stepdad doing epoxy floors and getting his online business up and going (blog coming on that when it gets closer to launch) but if anyone is interested or knows someone who is interested in having their garage floor done or commercial business let me know, they are licensed in several states so they will travel.

Graduation
As for me, I am currently staying at home with Aniston and working on becoming a Medical Transcriptionist. I love being at home with Aniston, and this job allows me to work at home and make my own schedule and help out where I can. Aniston is my pride and joy and I love spending every day with her watching her grow and learn new things. She has brought so much laughter and joy to our family and she knows exactly how to wrap you around her finger. She knows what she wants and she will let you know. She is still the best baby and continues to amaze me everyday.

This was us on Mothers day  (I am one proud mama!)
Aniston is now 9 months old. She weighs 18 lbs and is 27". She is officially a crawler and gets better everyday and loves to cruise around and get into everything! She has her two front bottom teeth and her two front teeth on the top just came through. She says "mama and dada" and has her own sound for what a dog makes, which is pretty close, and she kinda knows what a cat says when she feels like telling you. She loves all kinds of food especially jello and mac and cheese (I promise thats not the only thing she eats). She loves bananas and carrots and chicken and just about everything else. Her hair has grown a lot over the last month and she now can have a ponytail or pigtails. She is very independent and wants to feed herself and put herself to sleep which means she hates to cuddle, breaks my heart just a little. She loves to give everyone the "cheesy" smile and loves the attention. Shes loves her voice and make noises with her mouth thanks to grandpa webb and grandma seal taught her to tighten her fists and say grrr, so when shes angry she will let you know. As you can see my little girl has grown up!

Firsts....

Aniston recently has had some fun firsts which include her very first tooth and her first time swimming! She has been a pretty good teeth-er so far. Her first tooth came when she was sick so she was fussy but her second one is on its way and she has been pretty happy! I can't complain.

You have to look close but its her front bottom tooth
This last weekend we had Bens Dad and his wife Chris over and they rented a hotel, so we decided that we would all go swimming! It was so fun, it makes me so excited for the summer and to take Aniston to water parks. She loved it, she didn't know what to do at first but she warmed up to it and started paddling her legs and splashing. She was lookin cute with her chunky legs!

Aniston also got to go to her first Caucus which was the first caucus ever in Idaho yesterday! We forgot our camera so we didn't get pictures, but we were there! Go Mitt Romney!!!

She is also rolling all over and is doing pretty good with sitting up on her own!

6 months old!

Aniston has been growing so fast! She is turning into such a beautiful girl and I just can't get enough of her. She finally got her first tooth along with being sick, which has not been fun but she is still a trooper and is the happiest baby. We just love her so much. We got her 6 month pictures taken by Wild Lily Photography which I won a session with her at the Rigby Craft fair so we got a good deal.

                                                                 Isnt she so CUTE??!!!

Solids!

Aniston is growing way to fast and will be 6 months on Feb. 8th, so we decided to get her started on solids. So far we have only done rice cereal and some veggie puff snacks which she has done really good with. She is really starting to get the hang of eating with a spoon and I cant wait to start her on more and see her reaction. So we are new parents and trying to learn how to best transition her, so if any of you moms out there know of good foods to start them out with and what worked for your kids, let me know! I would love some recommendations! She also has started to roll over. We tried a trick by standing over her and having her look up at us and the weight of her head would turn her over and it didn't take her long to catch on. I can't believe she is getting so big. She is seriously the love of my life, along with my hubby of course, and I just love getting to spend everyday with her!
These were the veggie puffs she ate which she has to examine and hasn't quite caught on that she has to let go of it in her mouth so she ends up just sucking on her hand as it dissolves in her mouth

She loved it so much that she sometimes hops right on to the spoon

As you can tell by those chunky cheeks, she loves food!

Ringing in 2012

So I'm a little behind, so here is an update! To ring in the new year, Ben and I were in Utah celebrating with his family. We decided this year we wanted to get out and do something fun, so we went with Bens step brother Nate and his wife Katie to Salt Lake for the event EVE. We had never heard of it before but all through downtown they have concerts, laser shows, vendors and a firework show at the end. We really wanted to go for the fireworks and the laser shows, but by the time we got there the laser shows sold out, so instead we walked around downtown and through temple square and heard a little bit of the Nashville Tribute Band. We had so much fun and can't wait for what the year 2012 will bring. Ben is graduating in April and we will be moving to Utah, and then we really can't wait for our cruise in November with some of Bens close friends. I hope you all had a great New Years!
Here are some pics!
