18 months

I know its the last day of the month, but Aniston turned 18 months old on February 8th! She has become such a big girl and amazes me everyday with all the things she learns! Its so crazy how much this little girl has all of us wrapped around her finger! Words cannot express how much I love being her mom and being a mom! It never gets old taking her out and watching her do things for the first time! Who knew I would be so proud when she learned to tell me she went "poo poo" (sorry, I know gross, but its the cutest thing ever how she says it) but 18 months feels like a big milestone for our little one. I wanted to be sure and record and remember all her favorite things and what she has learned!

 New Favorite Foods:
Happy meals (thats how we get through the grocery store)
Apples
Pickles
Fruit
Edamame
Chocolate covered Strawberries
Of course any kinda treat she can get her hands on

This was Valentines day

 Favorite things to do:
Singing Songs! She knows the actions to Itsy, bitzy spider, Book of Mormon Stories, Happy and you know it, Wheels on the bus, and Jesus wants me for a sunbeam! She loves practicing these songs in Nursery and with Barney.
She loves the iPad! She likes to navigate through Netflix and watch Elmo and Barney, play games and take a million pictures!
She loves helping mommy in the kitchen by sweeping and mopping and vacuuming!
Loves to empty her toy bin and read and get into whatever she can find!
She also has started to love her babies and play mommy to her dolls. She is going to make a very good big sister someday!

Loved rollerskating! In her case being pushed on the scooter!
Sweeping away

Favorite Movies: Brave and Tangled

She gets zoned in when she watches her movies

Her hair is getting longer and curlier and she can now wear ponytails!!

First Ponytail

We finally got to play in the snow!! She loved it!! We had a huge snow storm earlier this year and one morning we decided to go out in our apartment complex and play! We used bens snowboard as a sled and went down the snow mounds around the parking lot!

Another BIG transition happened this month!! Mr. Binky broke! So we are now binky free! Aniston chewed threw her binky, so I went ahead and cut it off and gave it back to her and she now knows what it means when something breaks! I heard from my dear friend Jacqueline that thats how she got McKenna to let go of the binky so I decided not to get another one! She has done great! Naptime and Bedtime are a little harder but she has her good and bad days, but I was very surprised how easy she took it!!

I wish I could stop the clock, because she is growing way to fast! She catches on to new words everyday and has turned into little miss attitude at times and its so hard to not laugh! Oh man, we have are hands full with this one, but she is the best and most amazing daughter! I am so blessed for the family I have been given and am so grateful for her and what she teaches me! We love our little monkey!

Christmas

This year for Christmas we stayed here in Utah and celebrated with Bens family. The month of December is always busy and full of birthday fun, christmas parties, dinners and lots of family time. We had so much and got so spoiled, especially Aniston. Having little ones always makes Christmas so much fun and Aniston loved opening every present, along with everyone else's presents. Christmas Eve, Aniston of course caught a cold at the worst time and was running a fever so we stayed home with our own little family and started our own family traditions, which ended up being so fun! We cooked some yummy snacks, watched a Christmas movie, and got to play Santa! Grandma and Grandpa Kirby and Aunt Kylee came over in the morning to join in watching Aniston see what Santa brought her. She was just more confused than anything but once the gift opening started she was all in. Then the day after Christmas my family got to come up and stay with us and spoiled us even more!

Santa brought Aniston a lego block set and a play stand that flips and turns into a coloring stand

Excuse all our morning glory, we were all up all night with this sick little one

She also got a stocking full of some of her favorite things

This child is obsessed with Elmo and loves books so this was my favorite gift for her to open

Another thing we love is FaceTime! After we were done we got to facetime my family and see them opening presents!

Merry Christmas!

These pictures don't even begin to show how much fun we had this holiday season! Ben and I have such amazing families who show us so much love and support each and everyday. We are truly blessed and have had an amazing year and our grateful for every minute! We are excited for 2013 and to see what it brings! We hope you all have a great New Year and had a Merry Christmas!!

Birthday Fun

This year my birthday was extra special because it landed on 12/12/12! I remember when I was younger thinking how old will I be when my birthday is on 12/12/12 and unfortunately it wasn't 12 but yet another great number 25! It has been the best 25 years and especially these last 3 years! I have met the most handsome, wonderful, amazing, loving husband and I have a beautiful, funny, amazing daughter that I have been so blessed with. My family is my everything, and I can't wait to see what the next 25 years brings! Thanks again to all my friends and family for all the calls, texts, and facebook messages! Its always a nice feeling when your phone doesn't stop ringing, so thanks for all the love! It was amazing! My husband treated me to a night in Salt Lake City and we went to dinner and looked at the lights and walked around downtown. It was beautiful and now we can't wait for Christmas!! Here are a few pictures from our night!!

Did I mention how handsome and beautiful these two are?

My little bundle of fun!! And oh was she bundled!!

So beautiful!

Halloween!

October for us went way to fast and so we saved all halloween activities for the very last week! So on Monday, Ben and I went on a date to Freightmares at Lagoon, which was way fun, haunted houses aren't my thing as many of you know who have been with me, but I survived! We didn't take any pictures, but its an awesome time to go to Lagoon!

Tuesday was a night of carving pumpkins and watching Hocus Pocus! Aniston enjoyed playing with the pumpkin seeds more than playing with the yucky mess inside the pumpkin!

We had to start the night off with some halloween cupcakes

For Halloween Aniston dressed up as a cute little ladybug! There were so many costumes to choose from, so I narrowed it down to a few at the store and let her pick and she went for the ladybug! So here are a few pics we took on Halloween....

Halloween night we got to spend with my cousins in Riverton. Aniston got to go trick or treating with her cousin Parker who was the Hulk for Halloween! They were so cute together and it made such a fun night! Thanks again Cole and Sarah!

We hope you all had a Happy Halloween!!!
